Go to the Join Now page to register and pay if you want to become a member.
Once registered and paid, you will receive your membership card by mail or from the Marshal. You must present your card to the Marshal when signing in to shoot. The membership card contains the gate combination that will allow you to access the club for shooting 5-Stand when the sporting clay ranges are closed.
- New Members are required to receive an orientation from the Marshal covering safe use of the facilities and review of rules prior to shooting the first time.
- Annual dues (after the first year) are set by the Board and are currently $125. These dues are invoiced by mail in March of each year.
- Memberships are family memberships that include spouses and dependent children through the age of 18.
- Memberships do not include adult children, parents, in-laws, etc., but these people are welcome to shoot at guest prices.
Our History
Gallatin Sporting Clays threw its first target in 1991. We started with two manual traps and the Ponderosa Storehouse now located near station 11. Our club has always been fortunate to have the support of landowners who let us use their property for nominal consideration. This has enabled us to enjoy the cheapest sporting clays anywhere.
For the first three years, we used land west of the airport donated by Rudy Suta. After the third year, Rudy began developing his property, and we moved to our present location in 1994. We entered a ten-year lease with Bob Green for $10.00 per year. In December of 2004 we purchased 220 acres of land from the Green Ranch which will allow us to develop the property for use as a Sporting Clays range.
